Why do I need my Logo in a vector format?
Well, most of the companies in the advertising industry use Adobe compatible programs. If your logo has 3-Colors in the logo they machines need to recognize which color matches which part of the logo. So if you have your logo Vector Art Ready, they can "disassemble" your logo so that the imprinting machines can ready them. This also makes it easy for someone to change the color of you logo in specific locations, for example I want the roof of my house to be changed from Red to Blue, but keep everything else the same.
