Think back for yourself, it's the jingles you remember, not the TV ad's, not the press, not the web JINGLES STICK IN YOUR HEAD. Jingles; The Secret Weapon of Advertising

The jingle has been an extremely effective tool in increasing advertising recall. It even works when the target is not actively listening. This is why you may often find yourself with a stupid song stuck in your head. Have you ever found yourself walking through the house singing "Happy Little Vegemites"? Music and lyrics are up to 90 times more memorable than the spoken word. Do you still remember "Mary had a little lamb" and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"?

Jingles cut through the days noise and get into your head

Local business owners can easily implement the jingle into their existing advertising campaign. If you could make your customers remember something about your business what would that be? Because we live in an over-communicated society (the average person is bombarded with 3000 ads per day) it is important for the marketer to be extra savvy. A good jingle can be just the right element.

Remember that you are attempting to get your advertising message stuck in the consumer's mind, not win a Grammy. Our aim is to have Customers remember your business or product even when your aren't advertising.

Why not use a popular song?

A popular song can get the right reaction among your target audience but it will never have the recall. Because a brand will never own that song but rather just rent it "When you buy that song, it maybe terrific for that period of time but you are never going to own it. Some of the more recent ads that used U2 or the Beatles were ones that we probably enjoyed a lot but I can't recall what they were advertising. A custom jingle will be forever linked to your brand. When someone is whistling a jingle, that brand will come to mind. Whereas when you are singing U2's Vertigo [used in an Apple iPod ad], there's more of a chance that you'll be thinking about the U2 rather than the car.

You've never remembering a print ad under the shower, But I bet you have found yourself singing a Aeroplane Jelly or C'mon Aussie C'mon, ask us about you new Secret Weapon contact us here or call 0418 752 103
